LIHYP PROJECT |
LIHYP: Linking Hydrogen Power Potentials The LIHYP project aims to accelerate the development of a green hydrogen economy in the European North Sea region by fostering cooperation between public, private and academic stakeholders. LIHYP matches hydrogen production needs with production capacities in order to support the emergence of regional and cross-border value chains. The project is developing demonstration projects, strategic roadmaps, a collaborative platform and recommendations designed to facilitate the roll-out of hydrogen infrastructure and applications in the transport and energy sectors. IDIT is responsible for examining the legal and regulatory issues associated with the development of green hydrogen. Its work focuses in particular on the comparative analysis of legislative frameworks, the identification of regulatory barriers and the formulation of recommendations to promote the emergence of a European hydrogen market. Duration: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2028 Total budget: approximately 5 M&euro Funding: Interreg North Sea, Priority 2 – A green transition in the North Sea Region Lead partner: New Energy Coalition (Netherlands) Partners: Aconium GmbH (Germany); Bentheimer Eisenbahn AG (Germany); BMO – Bremer Mineralhandel GmbH (Germany); CIRCOE – Centre for Innovation and Research in Logistics (France); DLR – German Aerospace Centre (Germany); Eurowind Energy A/S (Denmark); Hydrogen Valley (Denmark); Kiwa Nederland B.V. ECOBOOST PROJECT |
ECOBoost : Advancing SMEs Towards Net Zero through Comprehensive Energy Efficiency Integration This project aims to improve the energy efficiency of small-sized enterprises (MSEs) and accelerate their transition to carbon neutrality. MSEs face financial, technical and regulatory barriers that hinder the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and procedures. ECOBoost will pool European solutions and help SMEs overcome these obstacles by drawing on various tools that will be developed as part of the project: energy audits, tailor-made support, technical and legal assistance, training programmes, provision of innovative business models, etc. The tool will be tested with 90 MSEs in Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. IDIT will provide its legal expertise on energy efficiency regulations for micro-enterprises and on energy transition incentive schemes. It will develop a common legal mapping model for the countries involved in the project. Duration: 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2028 Total budget: €4,998,602.48 Funding: INTERREG NWE + 2021-2027 - Priority 2 - Energy transition. Lead partner: South East Energy Agency (SEEA) Ireland |
